I remember when I was young I saw a short film about children living underground and their teacher was telling them about the sun.
Once in a very long time, it would stop raining outside and they would be allowed to go to the surface and see the sun for an hour.

yes that was about a girl living on mars where it rained all the time and for one hour every bunch of years it would stop raining...and the girl had lived on earth while all the other children at the school had grown up on Mars...they locked her in a closet so she didnt get to see the sun.
Had to read that in junior high school.....it was a short story, by uhm....cant remember. Glad I wasnt the only person who had to read that one!

Basic radio is great, if you like spending half your time listening to commercials, and now said commercials are mostly political campaigning crap!

Absolutely make me vomit when I hear that one that mentions "My Whitehouse".

star wars was on this weekend.....the first trilogy --the 2nd ones are going to be on this weekend....dang wish a third had been made....but oh well.

Moive---at a THEATER????? uhm, that would have been ratatouillle....and yes I already have it on dvd....best movie in a long time.....

it's quite easy, farm a place 5 times, go to a new place, farm it 5 times, go to a new place, rinse and repeat, and being a mesmer primary, farming is easily done, with some practice

Been a long time since I've gone out to a movie. Me and GF would rather rent several movies for the same price, relax at home in slouch clothes, take breaks when we want to, and not have to deal with rude people with cell phones ringing.

must be us older folks monty----I prefer to wait for the dvd in most cases and then watch when I want to watch it---not when its being shown at the theater (and with my new stash of orville from the sams I dont have to pay extra for the popcorn and water here is kinda free)....and since the price of the dvd right now is just about the same as 2 tickets to see a movie.......
No reason to drive to a place far away, wasting gasoline (and with the price right now I try to cut out as much driving as I can), stand in a line, sit in a sticky theater with ill-mannered kids (and adults)....and listen to a movie that is usually played so loud my mom can even hear it (and she is almost deaf).

yep home on my comfy sofa, my choice of tasty beverage, as well as dinner if I so desire....the mute button, the pause button, the repeat button......now if I can get the turn off the neighbor button

.......see no reason to GO to a movie. (and dont really care if others have seen it before me, ya that dont impress me much).

I don't normally go to movies in theaters, I see them as a rip off. Last one I saw was Definitely Maybe I think... Saw that with my gf on Valentines Day. Otherwise I prefer DVD's by far. Much better that way.

So Man U beat AS Roma 1-0 today at Old Trafford (Won 3-0 on aggregate) to move into the final four versus Barcelona. Hopefully we can beat them and move on. By the way Euro Premiership>>other leagues. 3 out of 4 teams are England teams. oO Crazy...

T_T I don't have a mesmer (it'd cost too much much money to buy all the armor I'd want for her xD).

I rarely go see a movie xD, I prefer to rent it or buy the DVD. Last movie I saw was Enchanted (and I saw it again on the plane saturday lol).

Ya Man U is pretty awesome. There are a couple Liverpool, Aresenal, and Chealsea fans around here. But so far Man U has reigned supreme.

But sometimes, sadly, it's the only way to go...
